Saponaria castor oil is virgin, cold-pressed and comes from the seeds of the Ricinus Communis plant. It contains approximately 90% ricinoleic acid and other valuable fatty acids and antioxidants. It has numerous uses on the face and body due to its moisturizing and anti-oxidant properties. Castor oil has traditionally been used on the scalp when there is hair loss and dandruff, and on eyelashes and eyebrows where it may help thicken them. It may also be useful for acne-prone skin care.
